If you didn’t notice, I didn’t send out a newsletter last month. And I felt really bad about it. But honestly, I didn’t have much to share and I kind of just ran out of time. My amazing PA assured me that ya’ll wouldn’t come after me with pitchforks. She was right… right?
My oldest heads back to school in a week and a half and I can’t believe it. It’s like summer is over, but not really because, August. I’m going to miss seeing her sometimes smiley, sometimes grumpy face the everyday single day, but I’m also ready for her to go back to school. Say no mom ever.
But I’ve also been busy on the book front. I’m working on a super-secret authoring project. And I’ve been writing Ruby and Link’s story and working on getting One More Round ready for audio. So keep reading for more goodness!

Book Updates
Any audiobook lovers out there? If so, One More Round will be available on audio this fall. We are still in the early stages but I’ve found an amazing narrator and we are both really excited about this project. More info to come!
I’ve been writing Link and Ruby’s story and it’s more than 1/3 of the way written. I’m so excited about this story. But I promised my reader group that once I hit 20K words I would share the title of Gamer Boy #3. What do you think? Do you love it? Once I hit 40K words be on the lookout for the blurb. What I’m Loving
I wanted to share something I’m kind of obsessing over. Earlier this month, I downloaded the new Tasty App. You know, how cooking videos are all the rage on Facebook these days. Well, that app is so fun. It’s all videos, step-by-step instructions. You can rate the recipes and I’m loving it. So far, we’ve loved most of the recipes we’ve tried, but some have been… not so great. Check out Pancake muffins, Chicken Teriyaki Chow Mein, and Cake Mix Cookies – 9 Ways!

You all should know by now, if you follow me on social media, that I read more than I should. But I’ve been reading some really good books lately. So this month, my book recommendations were harder to nail down. And I believe, both of these authors have been here before.
I can’t even express the love I have for this Nothing But Trouble series. Landon and Piper’s story was so rich and deep with emotion. Second chance romance is at it’s finest here.
Willow and Dax were so wonderful. Willow, likable from the start, Dax a down on his luck broody rockstar. Surprisingly, the goats and nuns really worked for me.
