LEVEL ME UP Audio Book!

Now on Audio!

It’s finally here! Level Me Up is now available as an audiobook! Lacey Gilleran kicked some major butt as Morgan. You’ve got to check it out.

Here is a fun little outtake from the recording. Lacey was a fan of the book and got a kick out of the characters. She told me she found herself laughing quite a bit. Here’s the outtake on SoundCloud.

One More Round Update

So I’m diligently hammering out all the words for One More Round. Gia and Simon haven’t been easy for me to write, unlike Morgan and Dex, who were ready to go from the start. But the three of us are finally playing nicely and can finally see the end.

So, how about an exclusive snippet? Please keep in mind that this is subject to change and has not been professionally edited.

“We were thinking about going out tonight. I want to do something fun. I haven’t really been out on the town since before the accident.” Morgan says wistfully. “Ah, I think I have a date tonight,” I say distractedly.

Morgan pouts as Simon scoffs, “How do you not know?”

I wouldn’t call his tone malicious, but as my eyes shoot to him, I notice his jaw ticks. This makes me wonder if he meant to ask the question out loud or not.

“Well, I set up the date a week ago and I haven’t heard from him all week. I just realized that we haven’t confirmed.” I draw this last part out slowly, “therefore, I think I have a date tonight, Simon.”

I don’t mean to be snippy, but he has no right questioning me about my personal life when he seems disinterested in me 95% of the time.

With a roll of his eyes, “you’re right. Forget I asked.” He moves his gaze back to the phone I hadn’t noticed in his hand.

“Damn. It’s always a treat to witness actual verbal exchanges between the two of you,” Dex says looking from me to Simon until Morgan elbows him.

This was not what I needed to distract me. I stand and head to the kitchen. Noticing that the dishes I told Morgan I’d clean were still there. Ah, cleaning should do it. As a bonus, the running water from the sink should drown out Simon’s voice as he becomes the nice, funny, and entertaining person that he is with everyone else. He reserves his bitter side for only me it seems.
