Hi ,
Can you believe that summer is almost over? I can’t, but then, I love fall, so I’m ready! But you know what I’m not ready for? Winter. As much as I love fall, I hate that it only sticks around for a week then it’s suddenly winter. Yuck.
So I’ve been spending a lot of time at my desk working on Game All Night over the past month. I’m really loving Ruby and Link’s story so far. I’m also brainstorming another super secret and “can’t wait to share” novel.

What I’m Loving
So I have a confession to make. If you’ve read either of the Gamer Boy novels, you know I like to write nerdy. There are so many ways to be nerdy these days, I love it. Well, I’ve been nerding out over something kinda childish, now don’t tell my husband because he disagrees on the age range, but I’m obsessing over Pokémon Go … still. Yeah, it’s been around for a while, and I just recently got back into it. I love catching Pokémon, evolving them, and trading them. I can’t help it. We take the family on “Poké-walks” around the neighborhood. We’ve got seven Pokéstops so…
Is anyone else still playing this addictive mobile game? If so, what’s your favorite Pokémon?
What I’m Watching
So unless you live under a rock, you’ve probably heard Netflix released a new original movie, To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before a couple weeks ago. It’s based on Jenny Han’s bestselling book by the same name. I’ve watched it three times now. I’m obsessed. It’s so fun and the acting is phenomenal. And the internet has a new book boyfriend… Peter Kavinsky. <insert dreamy sigh here>
Anyways, if you want a feel good, quicky YA rom-com, check this movie our stat!
I’ve been reading a lot this summer (I know, what’s new?). But here’s the thing… I signed up for Kindle Unlimited. Ahhh! So it was really hard to pick just two books to recommend.
This book. Oh my, I consumed it in one day. Its all about extream sports (snowboarding) and foreignness. I can not wait until the next book releases. Check it out for sure!
I’m a fan of R.S. Grey but it had been a while since I read one of her books. This book was about starting over and falling in love. It was so good! Now I need to read more of her newer releases.
