“Four dates. Two thousand each plus an additional two not mention the machine.” She stands her ground.
Oh shit. She’s for real with this.
“You don’t have to pretend to be anyone you're not. But I don’t want to face my family alone. My brother’s getting married, and I need someone who’s got my back.”
I can’t believe what I’m hearing right now. She’s clearly got issues.
“You’re freaking insane. Both of you.” With that, I turn on my heal and leave.
